Membership Post-Nominals Guide

Post-nominal letters are an important way of recognising the professional achievements and contributions of members of the Society for Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA). They signify not only the level of membership held, but also a commitment to the highest standards of practice, ethics, and professional development.

Post-nominals are available only to those who hold a current clinical form of membership within the Society. Retired members and those in non-clinical Associate membership categories are not entitled to use post-nominal letters from BSHAA.

The guide below sets out the post-nominals awarded to eligible members, reflecting the different levels of recognition within the Society, from clinical support roles to full membership and ultimately Fellowship, which represents the highest level of distinction.

Use of post-nominals is a privilege granted by the Society and must be used accurately and responsibly, in accordance with the professional standards and ethical obligations of BSHAA.
