Join host Jayne Bryce, BSHAA Director of Professional Development, presenters Charlotte Rogers of Cochlear Ltd and Krista‑Louise Pearce of the Cochlear Compass Team, and the BSHAA Education Working Group, to discuss cochlear implantation referral pathways.
Charlotte is the Referral Education Manager for Cochlear Ltd. UK & Ireland. Following a career in the NHS as a Hearing Therapist and Senior Lecturer in Audiology, Charlotte joined Cochlear in 2023. In her current role, she continues to promote a long-standing passion for improving access to cochlear implantation for adult patients and for the clinicians that support them.
Krista‑Louise Pearce is a Hearing Engagement Specialist within the Cochlear Compass Team and has been part of Cochlear for almost 14 years. She is passionate about supporting people and their families as they explore the hearing implant journey. Krista‑Louise is delighted to be part of this webinar to share more about Cochlear Compass, their dedicated support service, how they work closely with healthcare professionals to support patients, and the incredible contribution of Cochlear Compass volunteers who provide mentoring, reassurance, and meaningful support alongside the team as individuals take their next steps towards living with a hearing implant.
