Following successful completion of a Masters degree in Audiology at the University of Manchester in 2005, Susan has gained extensive experience of providing a full range of audiology services in the NHS. She completed her Clinical Scientist training at The Countess of Chester Hospital where she progressed to the role of Head of Audiology and Lead for the Paediatric Audiology Service. Susan transferred her NHS role to East Cheshire in 2020 where she is part of the Paediatric Audiology team as a Clinical Scientist (Audiology).
She has completed further training in tinnitus assessment and management and has experience of working with adults and children with sound sensitivities such as tinnitus and hyperacusis. Susan and Sarah founded Chester Hearing and Balance Services LLP in 2012 providing a range of high quality hearing services to adults, children and young people. Susan has been a HCPC registered Clinical Scientist in Audiology since May 2009. She is also a HCPC registered Hearing Aid Dispenser.
She is a member of the professional bodies in Audiology including the British Academy of Audiology, British Society of Audiology, British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists as well as the British Tinnitus Association.
