Mr Wayne Ellis has over 20 years' experience in Audiology, caring for both adults and children. He is one of only a few clinicians trained in all areas of Audiology, including complex hearing and balance disorders and the highly specialised field of auditory implants (cochlear, middle ear, and bone conduction implants). He holds dual registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as both a Clinical Scientist in Audiology (Reg. CS17671) and Hearing Aid Dispenser (Reg. HAD02668). Mr Ellis qualified with an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. In 2005, he obtained a master's degree (MSc) in Audiology from the University of Southampton, where he was awarded the D W Robinson prize for the best dissertation in the field of human sciences. Mr Ellis completed his post-graduate training at The Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, where he was awarded the Certificate of Audiological Competence (CAC). Alongside his work at OneWelbeck ENT, Mr Ellis is Audiology Service Manager for Auditory Implants, at The Royal National ENT Hospital, London. He is dedicated to training and professional development, having spent eight years on the British Society of Audiology Professional Practice Committee and three years as Chair of the BSA Short Course Sub-Committee.
